This drama is about Cha Eun-ho(Lee Jong-suk)a successful and popular Chief editor and author of a Publishing company and also one of the founders of the company. When he was young, Kang Dan-i(Lee Na-Young) saved him from an accident but she was hospitalized instead of him for a year. In order to pay his debt, he starts to read books for her from the library but ends up becoming interested in books.

They become friends but Cha Eun-ho develops feeling for her but never confesses to her for fear that she might break the friendship. Years later, she starts to date a guy and decides to marry that person but Cha Eun-ho disapproves however, she stands by her decision and marries him. Years later, she divorces him after finding out that he cheated on her. She starts facing difficulty and applies for the position of temporary task support worker at Cha Eun-ho publishing company and she gets in.
